I am here on exchange from the university of my home town, Waterloo. my scientific interests All science is either physics or stamp collecting. -Ernest Rutherford My main scientific interests are physics and applications to engineering, specially applying quantum optics, quantum theory, optics and electromagnetic theory to make cool things. In the fall I will start work on my PhD at California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA. Last summer I was working at the Photonic Entanglement Group of Prof Gregor Weihs at the Institute of Quantum Computing. schooling I have never let my schooling interfere with my education. -Mark Twain I finished highschool in 2003. I've been enrolled in an Electrical Engineering co-op program at the University of Waterloo since 2003. I am spending my last year of undergraduate studies on exchange at l'Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and graduating in 2008.
